Ask a question.
Give something back.
Every answer earns a card showing where you stand against everyone else. Every survey ends with a receipt saying what your answer changed. People finish, share, and come back for the next one.
Surveys fail because they take and never give.
A forms link asks for two minutes and offers a thank-you page. Heardback pays for every answer twice: immediately, with a reveal, and later, with the outcome.
- Twelve questions on one page
- Nothing back after each answer
- “Thanks for your feedback”
- Never hear what happened
- One question per screen, seven at most
- A reveal after every answer: where you stand vs everyone
- A card worth sharing, with your referral link on it
- A receipt: what the asker decided, by a date they committed to
Ask. Reveal. Report back.
- 1Paste your goal
“Should we drop the delivery fee?” Heardback drafts seven short questions, you edit them, and you commit to a decision and a date to report back.

Where you stand against everyone who answered, as a card built for a phone screen. Comparative, never a score. Cards unlock once twelve people have answered.

- 4Then the receipt
When you decide, every respondent hears what their answer changed. That is the moment a survey becomes a relationship, and why people answer the next one.
Receipt · 5 OctWe kept the fee, but capped it at $2.68% of you said fees over $2 were the reason you ordered less. Thank you for answering.
- See where you stand after every answer
- Collect a card per question; share the ones you like
- Skip anything, stop anytime, delete everything
- Hear what was decided, not just “thanks”
- Seven questions drafted from your goal in a minute
- Completion and share rates you can watch live
- Free-text answers interpreted, later synthesised into themes
- Pay per completed response, not per seat
Built to be screenshotted.
Rendered server-side for phones, in square and story sizes, with the respondent's referral link in the footer. Every headline says where you stand relative to others, never what you are.

Pay for answers you receive, not for seats.
- Up to 50 completed responses per survey
- Reveal cards, receipts, export
- Web link now; WhatsApp link where available
- Buy response credits in USD; local currency shown at checkout
- AI follow-ups and synthesis
- Taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax) added where applicable
Public pricing is published when the asker app opens. Amounts shown exclude taxes and may change; the price in force when you buy credits is the one that applies to those credits.
Consent first, in any jurisdiction.
Every respondent sees who is asking, why, what is kept, and who sees it, and confirms they are 18 or older. The consent version is recorded.
Phone numbers and emails are hashed for lookup and encrypted for sending. Respondents can download or delete everything without an account.
Other respondents only ever see totals, never an individual answer. Cards are withheld until enough people have answered.

Questions people ask first.
Who is this for?
Teams that need honest answers from real people fast: product and founding teams, researchers, community and membership organisations, anyone whose survey links currently die at question two.
Do respondents need an account?
No. A respondent opens a link, agrees to a plain-language consent screen, and answers. Nothing else is stored unless they choose to leave a phone number or email for their receipt.
Which countries and currencies?
Any. Each survey sets its own currency for amount questions, and the consent, privacy and deletion flows are built to GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA and India's DPDP Act standards. Our first pilots run in India.
Is a reveal card research?
No. A card compares one answer with the other answers collected so far in that survey. It is a shareable statistic about a self-selected group, not a population estimate.
Where does AI come in?
Question drafting from your goal, interpreting free-text amounts and replies, and later a synthesis of themes and quotes. Every AI output is labelled, and you review questions before publishing.
How is pricing calculated?
Per completed response. You buy response credits; each completed survey uses one. There are no seats and no monthly minimum during the pilot period.
Run a survey people finish.
The asker app opens after the first pilots. Leave your email and we will write once, when it does. Or answer the demo first and see what your respondents will see.
